MAINTENANCE AND USER MANUAL OF CERAMIC PRODUCTS

1. Heating settings

A very important detail about ceramic coating is that there is no need to turn up the heat completely when preparing the food. The best results are obtained by preparing the food at a lower heat than what one can normally be used to with other material. Overheating is most often caused by fats becoming too hot. If the oil gets too hot, it can burn on top of the non-stick coating. The coating can deteriorate faster for this reason and the slip effect will be reduced. If foods begin to stick to the coating, it is a sign that the release effect has been affected because the frying pan has overheated. This is not a defect in the product, but occurs when using excessive heat.

2. Use of fat

We always recommend using a little amount of fat if the food does not already contain fats.

3. Extend the service life

To achieve a longer service life for pots / pans, it is recommended to avoid the use of metal utensils or sharp objects. By using this, there is a risk that there will be small cuts in the coating, where food and oil can get stuck over time. Wood, silicone, nylon tools are all materials that we recommend using for the ceramic coating to achieve the best results in the long run.

4. Cleaning and storage

It is recommended to let the grit / pan cool completely before washing, to avoid thermal shock. Although you can put the products in the dishwasher, it is not recommended. When using dishwasher, contamination can occur from the bottom as dishwasher detergents attack aluminum. This causes discoloration on the coating over time. We therefore recommend washing by hand with warm soapy water and a soft sponge to ensure that the interior is spotless before storage. When storing, it is recommended that protective sheets be used between pots and pans to minimize wear.
